“I have enormously enjoyed my time as treasurer and trustee of firstly the Renal Association and more latterly the UKKA.  It has given me the opportunity to work with a team of highly effective leaders from across the whole professional kidney community, from whom I have learnt so much. Overseeing the financial and information governance aspects of the UKKA (including the UKRR) has enhanced my understanding of how large charities run and has given me a host of transferable skills.  I’d like to thank the staff who manage the running of this organisation, who are highly competent and responsive to the direction of the Trustees.

The Trustees of the UKKA are a team of leaders who work closely together to shape the vision and direct the strategy of the organisation and it has been a privilege to be a part of it.  I can highly recommend this role to anyone who would like to be an integral part of this effective leadership team and shape the support for our whole kidney community for the next few years.”
