Honorary members of the Association are persons of distinction who have significantly contributed to the objects of the Association, and have been nominated and elected by the membership.

While a formal call for Honorary Members is made once a year, nominations are welcome at any time from members.
Nomination criteria:
- Significant contribution to UKKA or the broader kidney community
- Current UKKA member in good standing

Any UKKA member can submit a nomination. Please email ukka@ukkidney.org with:
- The nominee’s name
- A short paragraph outlining why you believe they should be recognised
