75th Anniversary

This year, the UK Kidney Association proudly celebrates 75 years of representing kidney professionals in the UK. Nephrology was the first specialty to embrace a multi-professional approach and this milestone honours the incredible progress made since the Association’s founding, just two years after the NHS itself. At UK Kidney Week 2025, we’ll reflect on the past, celebrate the present and look to the future of kidney care. Attendees can explore features on the history of kidney medicine, groundbreaking discoveries and the stories of exceptional patients and professionals.
