    Speaker: Rochelle Blacklock, Clinical Lead Dietitian for the Obesity/Bariatric Surgery and Renal Dietetic Teams at King’s College Hospital
    About Rochelle: Rochelle has completed an MRes under an NIHR fellowship and an ICA pre-doctoral bridging scheme. Her areas of interest include obesity interventions and frailty, with a specialist focus on weight management interventions for those living with kidney disease.

    Speaker: Lina Johansson, Senior Clinical Academic Renal Dietitian, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
    About Lina: Lina was awarded her PhD in 2012 and regularly supervises dietitians and other healthcare professionals in the field of renal and other specialist areas. Her interest is focused on supporting people with renal disease in self-management and changing eating behaviors, including those with a kidney transplant. Lina has also contributed to national renal guidelines on supporting lifestyle in people with a transplant.

  • Kidney Fitness in Transplant (K-FiT) - A Weight Management Programme for Patients Living with End-Stage Kidney Disease and Obesity
    Speaker: Jacky Gandy, Specialist Chronic Kidney Disease Dietitian, Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust
    About Jacky: Jacky has been working as a kidney dietitian at the Royal Free since 2010, with experience across all modalities and stages of chronic kidney disease. For the past year, her focus has been on early-stage CKD in community-led clinics, aiming to prevent disease progression. She is passionate about addressing obesity in CKD and runs a weight management program with GLP-1 agonists to help patients lose weight and enable transplant listing.
