Introducing the Shared Haemodialysis Care Mentoring Programme, a transformative 12-month initiative led by the DAYLife team and the shared HD care working group. This programme is designed to accelerate and sustain the adoption of shared haemodialysis care across the UK, empowering kidney centres to deliver exceptional patient care through collaboration, mentorship and shared best practices.
What is Shared Haemodialysis Care?
Shared haemodialysis care is a patient-centred approach that empowers individuals receiving dialysis to take an active role in their treatment. By involving patients in their care, kidney centres can improve outcomes, enhance patient satisfaction and create a more sustainable healthcare model.
Why this Programme matters
The Shared Haemodialysis Care Mentoring Programme is a unique opportunity for kidney centres to learn from the best. By connecting centres with experienced mentors, we aim to foster a culture of knowledge-sharing, innovation and continuous improvement.
What’s in it for you?
Whether you’re just starting your shared care journey or looking to refine an existing programme, this initiative offers something for everyone:

Participants will gain access to tailored training, coaching sessions, and a growing network of kidney professionals committed to advancing shared care practices.
