We are delighted to announce Gloria Munoz-Figueroa as the new Co-Chair of the Sustainable Kidney Care Committee. Gloria, Programme Manager for the Renal Development Programme at St George's, Epsom, and St Helier University Hospitals Health Group, brings extensive expertise and passion for advancing sustainable healthcare practices.

Gloria joins Clinical Co-Chair Suren Kanagasundaram to lead the Committee’s efforts in addressing the environmental challenges of kidney care in the UK. Together, they will drive ambitious targets for decarbonisation and the reduction of other environmental impacts in collaboration with the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare.

The Sustainable Kidney Care Committee, a partnership between UKKA, the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition, and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, aims to deliver transformative solutions to the pressing environmental issues in kidney care. With Gloria and Suren’s leadership, the committee is poised to make a significant impact.
