Residential ANC 2022 Postponed

It is with great regret that we have been forced to postpone the residential Advanced Nephrology Course due to take place at Corpus Christi in Oxford January 4-8th 2022, due to the rapidly emerging coronavirus Omicron surge.

We feel that it is not tenable and irresponsible to organise a 4-day gathering of a substantial proportion of vital NHS trainees at a time when there is a high risk of coronavirus infection which could adversely impact individual health and healthcare delivery.

However, we plan to deliver the course virtually and are currently gathering all presentations to be loaded on the Whova platform. Registration for the online course is still possible.

The online course will consist of recordings of the plenary sessions available from January 4th onwards, with a series of online extended Q&A sessions in the third week of January 2022. (Dates are January 20th, 21st and 27th, 2022). The exact timing can be consulted through the agenda of the meeting.  There will be no recordings available of the workshops.

The Q&A sessions will be live but a recording will be added to the online platform site afterwards. All recorded sessions will be available for up to 5 months after the event via the online platform.

Accreditation
CPD accreditation, as in previous years, will be sought from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. The Advanced Nephrology Course (code: 138006) has been approved for 27 credits.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations for the online course are accepted up to 30 days prior to the start of the event without costs.

After that date, refunds will be subject to the space being filled (at our discretion) and a 10% penalty administration fee.
