EOIs invited to Co-Chair our Sustainability Committee

Expressions of Interest are invited for the role of Multiprofessional Co-Chair of the UKKA's Sustainable Kidney Care Committee.

The Sustainable Kidney Care Committee has been set up as a partnership between the UKKA, the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition and the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, to radically reduce the environmental damage associated with kidney care and its vulnerability to climate shocks. The role holder will lead this transformation together with the Clinical Co-Chair, including sharing chairing duties of the alternating monthly main committee meetings (i.e. 3 meetings per year after an initial bedding in period).

Opportunities will be available for mentorship from within the UKKA, for involvement in the various workstreams of the programme and in engagement with partner organisations.

Time commitments to the role are around 1 day per month.

Please submit your EOI of no more than 200 words by 31 August 2024 to ukka@ukkidney.org with the subject heading "SKC MPT co-chair".

Informal enquiries can be made to the Clinical Co-Chair Dr Suren Kanagasundaram
