Recent Membership Email Sent in Error

Some UKKA members may have received an email on Friday, 18 October 2024, regarding their membership status with the UK Kidney Association (UKKA).

This email was sent in error due to an issue during routine testing of our internal systems.

What happened:

Our development team was conducting updates on our staging (testing) website in preparation for the launch of our new website (which includes a new membership dashboard and new membership payment structure - read more about the new website here). During this process, an email system was inadvertently triggered, sending out welcome emails to both current and former members.

What you need to know:

  • No financial transactions took place

  • Your membership status remains unchanged

  • There have been no modifications to your existing membership details or renewal dates

Example of the email sent in error:

If you received any similar membership emails outside of Friday, 18 October 2024, please get in touch with us.

We sincerely apologise for any confusion this may have caused.

Please rest assured that this was a technical error on our part, and there is no action required from UKKA members at this time.

If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to our team at ukka@ukkidney.org
