The next run of the one-day training workshop on Mental Capacity and Best Interests in Kidney Care will take place on Thursday 18 September 2025 in Birmingham. This workshop explores the legal frameworks and practical challenges of providing care to people with cognitive impairments, framed specifically around kidney care. It is an opportunity for you to develop your understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, explore the role of the Court of Protection, reflect on stakeholder perspectives, discuss approaches to decision making, and build your confidence in these challenging situations.
