The Renal Nutrition Specialist Group (RNG) is a leading source of expertise in renal nutrition in the UK. It comprises over 360 dietitians who specialize in renal medicine and nutrition, either through clinical practice or research. The RNG promotes the role of renal dietitians within multidisciplinary teams, providing accurate and comprehensive information to standardize practice and demonstrate clinical effectiveness
Their aims include supporting high-quality, evidence-based dietetic practice for renal nutrition, providing up-to-date information on dietary treatment of renal conditions, and encouraging continued professional development among their members. They also work closely with other professional bodies to develop national guidelines and resources for patients, the public, and healthcare professionals
The Renal Nutrition Specialist Group is hosting a study day themed “Understanding the Patient Experience and the Role of the Dietitian in Improving Care.” Attendees are invited to display posters during the event.
