PNNG Educational Day

We are excited to announce the first virtual paediatric kidney education day; being held on Thursday 7 November 2024. Through lectures, case studies and workshops, attendees will deepen their understanding of kidney conditions. This education day is suitable for nurses and other health care professionals with an interest in paediatric kidney care.

The day will cover a wide range of topics including:

  • aHUS: everything you need to know
  • Tissue typing: made easy
  • Electrolyte disorders in nephrology
  • Nephrotic syndrome: review and case studies
  • Treatment and management of anaemia

It will also provide an opportunity to find out more about the National Paediatric Renal Nursing Competencies (including a Q&A session) and join breakout rooms for discussion and sharing of best practice in kidney replacement therapies.
