Live-Donor Transplant Film and Commentary 3 - Recipient Operation

Join us for the third in a multi-series of symposiums, in partnership with UKKA, showing a live-donor kidney transplant take place, recorded at University Hospital Birmingham UK. The third session will focus on the recipient operation following on from the first two sessions which focused on the left donor operation.

An expert panel of Kidney Transplant Surgeons; Mr Dilan Dibare, Mr Andrew Ready, Mr Marc Clancy and Mr Ben Lindsay, will show the stages of the donor operation, and will discuss the procedures and challenges commonly encountered at each stage.

The symposium will be chaired by Mr Nick Inston, consultant surgeon specialising in kidney transplants and vascular access for dialysis, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, UK. There will be an opportunity for the audience to submit questions about the operation to the panel. For more information and to join, click here.
