Live-Donor Transplant Film and Commentary 1-Donor Operation with Transplant Links

Join us for the first in a multi-series of symposiums, in partnership with UKKA, showing a live-donor kidney transplant take place, recorded at University Hospital Birmingham UK. The first session will focus on the left donor nephrectomy operation. An expert panel of Kidney Transplant Surgeons; Mr Dilan Dibare, Mr Andrew Ready, Mr Marc Clancy and Mr Ben Lindsay, will show the stages of the donor operation, and will discuss the procedures and challenges commonly encountered at each stage.The symposium will be chaired by Mr Nick Inston, consultant surgeon specialising in kidney transplants and vascular access for dialysis, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, UK.
