Join us for a Nephrology Discussion symposium, in partnership with UKKA, exploring how to optimise a living kidney donation. Dr Mark Harber, Consultant nephrologist, Royal Free Hospital, Dr Miriam Berry, Consultant Nephrologist, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, and Dr Amrit Kaur, Consultant in paediatric nephrology and clinical lead, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital will share and discuss insights from their work regarding immunosuppression protocols in renal transplantation for adults and children, including induction.
They will share their experiences of common challenges with managing Immunosuppression and how they are addressed, including monitoring. The speakers will also discuss the particular challenges of sub-populations based on race and age and how these are managed. Common side effects and how these are monitored and managed will be covered, as well as the evaluation of nephrotoxicity versus rejection, and managing declining graft function. Reigster here.
