57th ANZSN Annual Scientific Meeting

On behalf of ANZSN’s Scientific Program and AwaRd Committee (SPARC), I am delighted to invite you to the 57th Annual Scientific Meeting in Sydney, New South Wales.

The meeting will be held on 17-19 October in NSW. We are sure everyone is eager in anticipation for a face-to-face meeting after two years of virtual events. We look forward to welcoming you at an iconic venue to share your experiences on life beyond COVID-19 pandemic. For those who are unable to travel, and to increase our ability to host international speakers, the ASM will still retain an online component.

The Nephrology and Transplantation Update Course will be held, prior to the ASM on 15-16 October, and we anticipate that other satellite meetings will take place the day prior, on 16 October. We will also have a range of awards on offer, and we look forward to the opportunity to present them in person this year.

We are working tirelessly to put together an exciting scientific program that will cover a breath of topics that relevant to trainees, allied health, researchers and nephrologists. We are delighted in having two expert co-Chairs for the Local organizing committee: Dr Muh Geot Wong, who brings significant experience in hosting national and international meetings, and Dr Lisa Phipps representing our fellow colleagues from the Regions.

You will also be pleased to hear that ANZSN has committed to a childcare assistance package and will provide a child-friendly venue so that you can attend the conference and still met your parenthood responsibilities.

You can keep following the progress of the 57th ASM through this website, our weekly member newsletter or on Twitter via @ANZSNASM.

Once again, we would like to welcome everyone to Sydney in October 2022.
