The Science and Ethics of Xenotransplantation

This symposium will appraise the history and latest advances in the science of xenotransplantation, and review the ethical and regulatory frameworks established in the USA that allowed recent pig to human transplants and will govern future clinical trials. The symposium will culminate in a round table discussion on what will be needed to implement
a clinical xenotransplant programme in the UK.
