Peritoneal Dialysis Mentoring
The DAYLife Peritoneal Dialysis Mentoring Programme connects kidney centres looking to grow and develop their peritoneal dialysis services with experienced centres from across the UK.
Through structured centre-to-centre mentoring, quality improvement training and shared learning, participating teams work together to understand local challenges, develop practical solutions and strengthen their Peritoneal Dialysis programmes.
2026 – 2028 Programme
The current programme, launched in February 2026, brings together experienced PD teams with centres looking to develop their services. Mentor and mentee centres work together over two years, with monthly paired meetings complemented by development days, quarterly programme reviews and quality improvement activity.
2026 Programme Launch Event
The 2026–2028 Peritoneal Dialysis Mentoring Programme began with a virtual launch event on 26 February 2026, bringing mentor and mentee centres together for the first time. The session introduced the programme and mentoring approach, with paired breakout sessions to explore local strengths, challenges and priorities, followed by an introduction to quality improvement.
