Activation and maintenance on the waiting list

"Living kidney donor transplant before starting dialysis reduces the risk of graft failure by 52%"

Some kidney transplant centres have shorter average waiting times than others. The survival of dialysis patients is worst than most cancers. Urgent tests, investigations and clinic review appointments are needed for these patients so as to expedite their entry on to the national transplant waiting list. The sooner they get a transplant, better it is for them and for our health system.
