BAPN Winter Meeting 2022

27th & 28th January 2022 - virtual

In view of the rapidly changing landscape with the increasing number of Omicron COVID cases, we are reluctantly making the decision to change our Winter Meeting to a fully virtual format. Although we would have loved to have had a face to face meeting, we felt that this was increasingly unlikely to happen and that by making a decision now we can give ensure the virtual format is organized effectively. All those who have already registered will have the amount they have paid us re-funded in full.

We were preparing for a hybrid meeting anyway so the programme is virtually unchanged (if you will excuse the pun). Our research focused first afternoon will be headlined by presentation of the HOTKID results from Dr Manish Sinha and a keynote speech from Dr William van’t Hoff, Chief Executive Officer at NIHR Clinical Research Network. Our second afternoon will be focused on CKD with keynote speeches from Professor Rukshana Shroff, Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London and Professor at University College London and Professor Maarten Taal, Professor of Medicine and Consultant Nephrologists with additional input from dieticians, psychologist and a parent. Using all available technology we will try to maintain the interactive elements of all the sessions but especially the Quality in Practice session and will be sending out details in due course.

For those who register before January 9th we will be sending out a delegate pack similar to last year.
